Sunday Service
The Taishoji Sunday School was founded by the Rev.Tairei Shibukawa on June 5, 1927 and the Teachers’Association was organized in September 1958, by the Rev. Kisan Ueno. In 2005 the family service started with the Sunday School.
Sunday school students and teachers host special memorial services for the Bodhisattva Jizo in January and Keizan-zenji, the co-patriarch who popularized Soto zen in Japan, in November. They also help to lead readingd . In the gatha book.
